Botswana’s President H.E. Mokgweetsi Masisi has euroized the late Kenya’s 3rd President as a selfless leader whose service to the country and the entire world is to be emulated.
Masisi visited The Kenya High Commission in Gaborone to pay his final respect to the late President, H. E. Emilio Mwai Kibaki and sign the condolence book. In his own words, the Botswana President describe the late Kibaki as “an iconic leader, a selfless stateman dedicated to the good of not only the people of his country but also the entire world.”
Masisi was received at the High Commission by the Kenyan Ambassador to Botswana H.E. Amb. Mohamed Shidiye.
The condolence book has been opened at the Mission for dignitaries, friends of Kenya, and Kenyans living in Botswana, to come and sign as they pay their respect.
